Beachy... kinda like peachy

Newport is my favorite annual trip so it was a little sad to say goodbye for a couple of years! We stayed in the most amazing beach house on 48th street right on the sand of Newport Beach... Everyday consisted of donuts, fighting waves, hilarious stories, and sand in our hair.

Austy is my little beach buddy!
The crab though, was not one of the highlights of the trip I can tell you that.
{While laying out, you never want to feel six crab legs scurrying up your back...}

We all matched one day and had to take a picture! If you are wondering, my body and my mother's look exactly like my sister-in-law Carlyn's... We just didn't want to show it off and make people feel bad.     :\

 I wasn't lying when I said we had donuts everyday...

Shelley got in the water.... This is a big deal, people!

U.S. Open Surf competition in Huntington Beach!

Yep. That is an Audi R8...
If you are not a car person like I am, just scroll on
If you are, just drool for as long as you please
{Don't tell anyone I reached 118 on the PCH}
Happy mission homecoming to me!
...I wish.

A family that works out together, stays together...
...And also eats donuts everyday

So, the CrossFit Games were a whole other story! I have actually found a love for CrossFit but the people that compete in the world games are seriously like Hulk-manias. It was so entertaining to watch, but never do I ever want to be a Hulk...mania?

Hope she didn't mind I snapped a photo... ???

So, I wish that I could say that Bob Harper gave me the time of day.... But he didn't. Don't let the right picture fool you! I am sure that celebs really hate to be in normal situations and be stopped by non-ripped, fully clothed blonde girls that just want to talk about biggest loser and how much she loves him on the show. He had much better things to be doing... My favorite coach is Dolvett now.

This lovely LADY (yes, lady) is gracefully lifting 235 lbs above her head
Get what I'm saying about these hulk-people?

I've always been embarrassed for those families that think it is a good idea to match at Disneyland... For some reason I thought that for the Crossfit games it would be a lot less embarrassing, I was wrong. But at least they are all different colors... right?
